It all started with my passion for helping and teaching others. My goal was to reduce sickness and unnecessary death for those whose lives I could touch. This goal propelled me into a career of nursing and an extensive experience of caring for women and children.

I recently made a trip to Nigeria which gave me the experience of what healthcare is like in a developing country. The intention to improve healthcare practices is what led to the beginning of Better Health Initiative for Women and Children. With the knowledge and the experience I have obtained, I believed this was my chance to make the world a better place through advocating for health care practices for the vulnerable.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to join efforts with me to improve healthcare practices among our women and children as an ultimate goal to reduce morbidity and mortality of women and children.
